Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on GrailCharts are affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
That is the whole of it. The rest of this page explains how it works and what it does not affect.
Which links
Links that send you to a marketplace to buy a card or a sealed product — the buy buttons on card pages, the listings in our recent-sales sections, and similar links in articles. We participate in affiliate programs operated by online marketplaces.
Links to a grading company, to a manufacturer, or to another site for reference are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.
The "source" links next to our prices — the ones that take you to where a price came from so you can check it yourself — never carry affiliate parameters. Their only job is to let you verify our numbers, and attaching a commission to that would undermine the reason they exist.
What it does not affect
- It does not change your price. The commission is paid by the marketplace out of its own fee, not added to what you pay.
- It does not change our prices or rankings. Every price on this site comes from recorded market data. Our "most valuable" lists are sorted by current market price, computed the same way whether or not a card has an affiliate link attached. We do not accept payment to rank a card higher, to change a price, or to feature a product.
- It does not change what we tell you. Our grading and selling guides recommend against spending money at least as often as they recommend spending it, and that will not change because a link earns a commission.
Why we do it
Running a price database costs money — servers, data collection, storage of years of price history. Affiliate commissions pay for that, which lets the price data stay free to read with no account required.
Advertising
We currently show no advertising on this site. If that changes, this page and our Privacy Policy will be updated first.
